Kite Points

Kite Points measure contribution to the community, not skill on the water. Whoever reports the spot's condition in the morning, registers a place missing from the map or organises a session that actually happens is making the catalogue exist, and that is what the points recognise.

What earns points

The table is the same one the app uses. The value of each action is fixed and is part of the product's contract: no screen invents a different number.

The five levels

The level is the accumulated balance. It appears on the profile and in the list of who keeps each spot moving.

What Kite Points are not

They are not currency: they buy nothing, they do not become a discount and they cannot be transferred. They are not a skill scoreboard: practice level is another field, declared by each person on their profile. And they are not permanent at any cost: if moderation invalidates the contribution that generated a point, it is reversed, with the reason written in the history. A balance that drops without explanation is the fastest way for someone to conclude that the app is broken.

Start with the spot where you ride

The first point usually comes from the condition report: two taps, and it serves whoever is deciding whether it is worth going. See the spots mapped along the Brazilian coast or download the app to start.
